A while back we posted Melody and Tony’s engagement pictures on the blog. Few months after that we had the opportunity to share their special day with them at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club.

A wonderful Indian-Canadian wedding we shot in 2012, Farah & Kevin’s fairy tale wedding lasted for three days, complete with a traditional Muslim ceremony on a boat (very romantic), a secular wedding ceremony in a beautiful wooden chapel and a traditional Indian reception on the third day. We worked closely with the bride and groom, the wedding party and with the family and we were welcomed in the warmest manner among them. It was a great experience to shoot this beautiful loving couple.
Here are a few of our favourite pictures from each day, starting with the Muslim religious ceremony on the first day:
The following photos are taken on the second day of the wedding, when the bride and groom exchanged their vows in a secular ceremony, followed by photos in a gorgeous green place on a farm (we had a little adventure taking these photos) and the reception at an elegant restaurant in the heart of Yorkville, Toronto.
On the last day, the bride, groom and their families and friends attended an Indian reception. The gorgeous colours of the saris, as well as the decorations were a delight to photograph!
Style shoots are so much fun! We get to work with talented people, be creative and try new things. This is a shoot we did this summer. Thanks everyone for the great work, we are very happy with the results.

Georgette really loves photography and she had so many ideas about the pictures she liked to have and so it was a lot of fun working together to bring these pictures to life. After the first few shots they started to be very comfortable in front of the camera and the engagement session turned out to be very natural and beautiful and just what we had in mind.
I am happy we could go for the shoot two hours before the sunset just as we planned. The last few shots where done few minutes before the sun goes down. Georgette and Nick got married last weekend and we had the privilege of being there to capture their special day. Come back soon for few shots of their beautiful wedding.
